Meet the Instructors

All Malv Tae Kwo Do Instructors are Kukkiwon Certified. 

Grand Master
Lee Arnold

Grand Master Lee, a Kukkiwon-certified 7th degree black belt, is the Master Instructor for Lehigh Valley Taekwondo. Master Lee began his training in 1973, under Master Soon Ho Chang in the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do. In 1976, he visited Japan to study the Japanese martial art of Seigokan Karate for a year.

When Master Lee returned to the United States, he joined the U.S. Army and was relocated to Nuremberg, Germany. While in Germany, Master Lee began his studies in Taekwondo under Master Bok Nam Cho. Upon leaving Germany in 1980, Master Lee began teaching on his own in Ft. Benning, Georgia. Master Lee was honorably discharged from the U.S. Military, and moved to Gaithersburg, Maryland, where he continued to learn and teach Taekwondo under Master Byong Woon Kim.

Master Lee returned to the Lehigh Valley in 1984, where he founded Lehigh Valley Taekwondo.

SABUMNIM
Khizer Tariq 

Sabumnim Khizer is a 4th Dan Kukkiwon Certified Black belt and Founder of Malv Tae Kwon Do. Khizer Tariq starting his training in Tae Kwon Do when he was enrolled in Army Public School in Lahore, Pakistan. He moved to United States with his family in 96 and soon enrolled at Lehigh Valley Tae Kwon do to train under Master Lee Arnold.

He has been training for over 21 years and during his training he competed in Olympic Tae Kwon Do Tournaments with Lehigh University Team. Also, competed in USA Tae Kwon Do Union Sanctioned tournaments in poomse and sparring and had won multiple state and national championships in light weight division. 

Khizer Tariq founded Malv Tae Kwon Do in 2011 as he wanted to give his time and knowledge of martial arts to help the youth of the community to grow and become strong leaders. Khizer focuses his time now teaching and continuing to train in Martial Arts. 

Kyosinim
Amera Charni

Kyosinim Amera has been training in the Malv Tae Kwon Do program since the beginning. WIth her hard work and dedication to training she came up in ranks and was elected the team captain.

She has competed in multiple Olympic Tae Kwon tournaments in poomse and sparring and has an undefeated record in both. Amera is now the senior instructor for Malv Tae Kwon Do. 

Kyosinim
Islam Shakirzyanov 

Kyoainim Islam has been teaching Tae Kwon Do and Self defense since 1998.  He helps coach the Lehigh University Tae Kwon Do Sparring Team. 

He is a well rounded fighter and holds black belt in International Tae Kwon Do and also holds a 2nd Dan Kukkiwon Certified Black Belt.
